The first time I wore a latex bodysuit was during summer vacation, when I did latex cosplay with friends for several days in a row. After that, one of my friends never wore one again. As for me, I only wear latex at home or in my dorm when no one else is around, or when I go out alone and keep it hidden under regular clothes.
Later, I went to a convention with friends in cosplay costumes. I wore a skin-tone latex bodysuit as a base layer.
When my friend saw me, she was surprised. She touched it and said, “Wow, you’re wearing a latex bodysuit as a base layer? It’s 34°C today—aren’t you hot? Are you wearing a corset underneath too?”
I said, “When we did latex cosplay together before, it was even hotter than this. Come on, let’s hurry.” Then she complimented me on how good my outfit looked.
We walked around from 1 p.m. until the convention closed at 5 p.m., and my friend kept reminding me to drink water and be careful not to get heatstroke.
We had agreed beforehand that, once the convention closed, we would change first and then go out for hotpot.
When we went to change, I only took off my cosplay costume. I left the latex bodysuit on and put my regular clothes over it. I wore long pants, a short-sleeved T-shirt, and a long-sleeved sun-protection jacket, but the latex bodysuit was still visible around my neck.
When I came out of the changing room, my friend saw me and said, “Huh? Why didn’t you take off the latex bodysuit?”
I said, “I’m sweaty inside, and taking it off would be too much trouble. Come on, let’s eat first.”
She said, “We’re going for hotpot soon. You don’t want to get heatstroke—why not take it off? I’ll wait for you.”
I said, “The hotpot restaurant has air conditioning. It’ll be cooler than here. I’m fine—let’s go.”
She said, “All right, then. Let’s get some milk tea first. I’m already about to get heatstroke in here, and you’re still wearing that latex bodysuit.”
After hotpot, I saw that it was still early, so I said, “Didn’t you want to watch a movie? Let’s go.”
She said, “Aren’t you hot and tired? Why don’t you go home, take off the latex bodysuit, and have a shower? Did you put it on and start doing your makeup early this morning? You must be drenched in sweat.”
I said, “It’s fine—the mall is pretty cool. The sun hasn’t set yet, and it’s even hotter outside. Let’s go home after the movie. The last time we wore latex bodysuits together, we wore them for even longer than this. I was in high heels and walking around all afternoon, so I just want to rest my feet a little longer.”
So we went to see a movie together.
